Thank You! Track Day 2016 was Awesome!

Our annual Motoworks Track Day with Sportbike Track Time is definitely a high holiday on our moto calendar every year. This year was no exception. We had exceptional weather, a terrific turn out, and a great day out on the track. As usual, Gingerman Raceway was spectacular as our host and playground.

There were so many highlights this year. From a very entertaining and informative track walk from Chris Onweiler, to two terrific track-side meals sponsored by Todd Pugh and Shiny Side Up Law. Yet our favorite thing about this year was how nearly 30 people rode on the track for the first time at our event. That’s exciting, humbling, and a huge part of what this event is about. We love being part of that “first” and everything that comes after it.

We were flush with returning riders too. Old friends, returning customers, and even some out-of-towners made for a terrific turnout, and that’s what makes us the most happy. We put on the track day because we love it. More than racing, more than road riding, more than even our bonkers off-road adventures, there’s something wonderful about riding a racetrack just for the sheer fun of doing it. Even better when you’re doing it with friends.

So thank you. Thank you to everyone who came out. Thank you to the new riders who trusted us to bring them into this world of track riding. Thank you to Shiny Side Up Law for sponsoring. Thank you to Nick and his amazing volunteer team of instructors at Sportbike Track Time for keeping us safe and making us better riders. Track day is a celebration of the Motoworks Chicago family. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.

Track Day 2016, hosted by Motoworks Chicago, was an incredible event where moto enthusiasts gathered at Gingerman Raceway to share their passion for two-wheel adventures. With beautiful weather and a warm atmosphere, the event became a memorable occasion for many, including those who experienced the thrill of the racetrack for the first time. This unforgettable day brought together new riders as well as returning customers and friends, all joined by a shared love for their precious machines. The event also featured an informative track walk by Chris Onweiler, who shared his invaluable expertise with the attendees. Delicious meals were provided by sponsors Todd Pugh and Shiny Side Up Law during the track-side break. The fantastic staff of Sportbike Track Time, led by Nick and his team of volunteer instructors, worked tirelessly throughout the day to ensure a safe and exhilarating experience for everyone involved. Last but not least, a huge thank you goes to the Motoworks team for all their hard work and dedication, both on this special day and throughout the year.
